The Garden Path offers children of all ability levels a hands-on, tactile way to learn, explore, and grow. Clear, thoughtful instruction is paired with the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, solve problems, and try again.

Children experience the full journey of growing food—from preparing the soil and planting seeds to tending plants, managing pests, and gathering the harvest. Along the way, they begin to see how patience, care, observation, and hard work come together to produce something good.

Through real work and meaningful discovery, The Garden Path nurtures curiosity about God’s creation while building responsibility, confidence, perseverance, and practical skills. These experiences can become the beginning of a lifelong love of learning and provide a foundation for greater independence and future vocational growth.

The Barnyard Path invites children into the everyday rhythms of caring for animals through hands-on, meaningful learning. Students may gather eggs, prepare feed, refill water, groom animals, clean living spaces, observe behavior, and learn what chickens, goats, and other barnyard animals need to stay healthy and thrive.

As children become more comfortable around the animals, they learn to notice needs, respond with gentleness, and experience the confidence that comes from being a capable helper. There is also something special about slowing down to brush an animal, watch a flock of chickens, or simply spend quiet time alongside them.

STEAM concepts are naturally woven throughout the experience as students explore animal biology, nutrition, habitats, life cycles, measurement, simple engineering, and problem-solving through real-world activities. Learning becomes something they can see, touch, observe, test, and understand through caring for God’s creatures.

The Kitchen Path brings farm-to-table learning to life through hands-on cooking, baking, and food preparation. Children may mill whole grains into flour, care for a sourdough starter, preserve seasonal produce, and take on creative cooking challenges using unfamiliar ingredients.

Along the way, they build confidence, independence, and practical kitchen skills while learning to experiment, problem-solve, and trust their own ideas. By the end of the journey, each student works toward developing a signature food item—something uniquely their own that they can proudly share with family, showcase at a gathering, or even imagine offering at a local farmers market.

The Maker Path gives children a purposeful place to build, create, design, and bring their ideas to life. Students may work with real tools and materials, construct useful projects, create a painting or mosaic, develop a performance, or take an original idea from first sketch to finished work.

Along the way, they learn to plan, experiment, problem-solve, revise, and try again while building confidence in their own creativity and abilities. By the end of the journey, each child works toward a finished piece or performance they can proudly use, display, present, or share with others.
